One year later and still going.
Linking up today with Toddler Summer and BabyBabyLemon… telling a story in six words or less. I have more than six today though. Tomorrow marks my 1st Blogiversary, meaning that I’ve officially been blogging for a year.
I’ve been trying to visualize what blogging means to me, to see it and then explain it to you all.
Blogging is, at best, a roller coaster. A rickety old wooden Coney Island roller coaster. Each day the you climb aboard, wondering if the highs will thrill you, urging you to throw your hands up and scream in delight. If the lows frighten you, they’ll leave a lump in your throat, tears welling beneath your closed eyelids. You look beside and behind you to see who has climbed on board with you. Sometimes there’s a celebrity seated next to you, holding your hand and yelling “Woot!!” Behind you are the daily riders, watching your reaction as the roller coaster approaches the ascent.
And then at times you look beside you and the car is empty… you’re riding alone, or so you think. The same crew is behind you, you’re just too afraid to look, to open your eyes and see behind you.
To the same group of readers who come back day after day, thank you. You’ve been quiet, some of you. Others have made their presence known again and again. Thank you for following my roller coaster ride, even when we weren’t sure where it was headed. It’s been a great year, and I can’t wait to continue this wild ride.

Happy to be with you on the ride (even if I’m in the back with only the occasional WOOT WOOT shout out!). You have really taken to this medium and are on a successful journey. My ‘coaster car’ will be rumbling to the States soon so let me know if there’s anything you need/miss and want ferried back. Happy Anniversary
love those old wooden coasters…congratulations on your one year anniversary…
Happy Blogiversary! One entire year under your blogging belt – that’s quite an accomplishment. Congratulations! I am delighted to be on this ride with you and look forward to every single post. Thank you for all that you are and all that you do!
