We arrived in the US on Monday night of last week, leaving me little time for primping and shopping for clothes for BlogHer’12. I got back on Sunday afternoon and STILL haven’t shaken a raspy voice or the tired feeling that overcomes my body around 4:00 p.m….. but every moment is worth it.
HJ is soaking in his grandparent’s attention and hugs… we’ve taken advantage of having the best babysitters in the state of Connecticut and have gone out to dinner and hit up the movies. (Yes, my husband did sit through Magic Mike with me last night…. he is awesome)
So I apologize for the lack of followup regarding my Monday post…. the next six days will be the busiest of our trip and there’s no time for me to ponder anything, pen anything….. and if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, sorry for the radio silence, my phone internet is spotty at best.
The reality of things are that our time here is SO short, I need to devote all of my time to my family and friends who have supported this venture, to take every opportunity to hug, laugh with, and enjoy their company. I might not post till next week so in the mean time, I leave you with some glimpse of what we’ve been doing this last week:
ENJOY! I will miss your posts, but want you to do everything you’ve missed at home! Can’t wait until December when we go back to the U.S. for Christmas. Really makes you see things in a different light when you live overseas
