An ode to my childhood favorite…. and my mom’s!
When I started this blog in December of 2011, I knew that like everything else in life, it would evolve. What began as an opportunity to “get my feet wet” in an arena that I love has become an amazing and rewarding way to feel like I have a purpose, something tangible, something worthwhile.
I have always been a worker bee… successfully running a babysitting company at the age of 14 and making $1000 in two months, all the way to working full-time during graduate school. I love the feel of working, producing………growing. Blogging has afforded me that opportunity while in Paris and has brought so many awesome people into my life. I have drank the blogging water, and I’m totally okay flying my blogger freak flag.
You might see some changes around here over the next months. I’ve recently joined the Clever Girls Collective, an organization that pairs bloggers with companies. I am starting to explore sponsors and you may see featured content in conjunction with my posts. Anything that I write will always stay in line with what you’ve already seen from me and I’m hoping it will complement HJ Underway. I hope that by doing this I can then afford to make the physical changes to this blog without having to beg (edited due to the fact that the original statement said BED) Papa for a small business loan! There is no bedding for blog money, rather some polite begging!!!

You’re too funny — bedding papa! At one point I had an article to write for aTime Inc magazine (I was at Conde Nast at the time and had never written for this editor). In great haste I sent the article off, having written the word Suck for Such… Needless to say I was never asked back…
I would love to do more with my blog but i have zero ideas/inspiration on how to even start!! it’s a photo journal of our life – that’s it! And we are not.that.exciting!
